From August 29, Vietnam Airlines simultaneously increased flights for the September 2 holiday
From today (August 29), Vietnam Airlines simultaneously increased 95 domestic flights to serve passenger demand during the National Day holiday on September 2.
Vietnam Airlines Corporation (Vietnam Airlines) said it has plans to increase capacity to serve passenger demand during the National Day holiday on September 2 this year.
Specifically, from August 29 to September 3, Vietnam Airlines will add 95 one-way flights, equivalent to nearly 7,800 seats on 7 trunk routes and domestic tourism with high demand, bringing the total capacity of routes with increased flights during this period to about 78,000 seats, an increase of 11% compared to usual.
The routes with increased flights include those from Hanoi to Quang Binh, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc and from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc. With this plan, Vietnam Airlines hopes to meet the travel needs of customers during the National Day holiday.

In addition, from September 1, Vietnam Airlines will also resume flights to/from Pleiku (Gia Lai) to serve passengers' travel needs after this airport reopens.
Specifically, on the route between Ho Chi Minh City - Pleiku, from September 1 to September 14, there will be 1 flight/day using Airbus A321 aircraft; from September 15 to October 24, there will be 3 flights/day using Airbus A321 and ATR-72 aircraft.
On the route between Hanoi and Pleiku, the first flight will be deployed on September 5 using an Airbus A321 aircraft; from September 6 to 14, there will be 4 Airbus A321 flights/week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays; from September 15 to October 24, there will be 1 flight/day using an Airbus A321 aircraft.
On the occasion of re-opening the above routes, Vietnam Airlines is offering attractive promotional prices, specifically from Ho Chi Minh City-Pleiku: 399,000 VND/one way; Hanoi-Pleiku: 799,000 VND/one way. The above prices are valid for ticket issuance and departure from September 1 to 30.
