Nghe An Police Investigation Agency is preparing a case file to prosecute the case and prosecute Ha Thi Giang (born in 1995, residing in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district) for the crime of "Prostitution brokerage". Because Giang is raising a child under 36 months old, she will not be subject to temporary detention.
According to the leader of the Criminal Police Department (PC45), Giang is the person who runs a prostitution ring, in which the prostitutes are mainly students and models in Vinh City.

According to the statements of two prostitutes caught red-handed by the police, Tran Thi N. (born in 1998, residing in Dien Chau) and Thai Thi Y. (born in 1993, residing in Anh Son district), Giang was the "recruiter", then when there were customers, Giang informed the location for these subjects to come to sell sex.
At the investigation agency, Giang confessed that at noon on November 23, he received a request from a customer via social media asking to find 2 prostitutes for fun. After the customer selected through photos, Giang agreed with the customer on a price of 4 million VND/person. Then, Giang contacted N. and X. to come to the hotel to sell sex and agreed with the 2 prostitutes on a price of 2 million VND/time.
An investigator said that Giang was unemployed and had been a prostitute for a while. However, due to her not-so-outstanding appearance, she could not compete with beautiful girls.
Realizing the increasing demand for prostitution, especially among students, Giang posted on social media to "recruit" students and models into the ring. Giang's requirements were that the girl must be beautiful, diligent, fair-skinned, and have no acne.
In particular, Giang also raised the issue that if any girl, due to difficult family circumstances, wants to sell her virginity to earn money, she can contact her.
When she has customers, Giang introduces them as students, so the price is high, from 3 to 5 million VND/time. However, when announcing the price to the prostitutes, Giang only gives the price of 2 million VND/time, of which Giang takes 30%.

According to the leader of PC45, recently, in Vinh City, many prostitution brokerage lines have appeared through social networking sites. By creating accounts on Zalo and Facebook, the prostitution brokers will post recruitment ads for "long-legged girls" to join their lines.
After months of surveillance, the police have built up a profile of a number of prostitution brokers and their methods. Initially, the subjects would post advertisements looking for students with high requirements on appearance to work as PGs (marketing, introducing products) and offer attractive salaries.
When people contact them, they arrange a meeting, through which they choose those who meet the requirements in terms of appearance, then get to know them and take them out to eat and shop. When they see that the girls trust them, the subjects will ask them to go out drinking with customers and then sell sex with the promise of a super attractive income. Because the methods of the subjects are mainly through social networks and text messages, the line has existed for a long time.
As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, on the evening of November 23, a working group of the PC45 and C45 Departments of the Ministry of Public Security raided two rooms of Dat Phu Hotel (Hung Dung Ward, Vinh City) and Victory Hotel (Vinh City) and caught two couples in the act of prostitution.

N. is a first-year student at a college in Vinh city, having just enrolled for 3 months. Y. already has a stable job and participates in prostitution to “increase income”.
The police agency administratively fined two customers 750 thousand VND each. Thai Thi Y. and Tran Thi N. were also administratively fined 200 thousand VND each for prostitution./.
