Tu Long can be the Sports God in Tao Quan 2019

Currently, the artists are urgently rehearsing for Tao Quan 2019. This year's program is still directed by Meritorious Artist Do Thanh Hai, with the participation of Quoc Khanh, Cong Ly, Xuan Bac, Van Dung, Quang Thang. The young artists include Duy Nam, Trung Ruoi, Dung Hon.

Notably, Chi Trung still participates in Tao Quan this year, and takes on a Tao role, even though he previously announced that Tao Quan 2018 would be the last year.

In the new behind-the-scenes clip posted by VFC, the producer revealed some short episodes of the 2019 Tao Quan program. At the same time, VFC shared funny moments of artists Quoc Khanh, Cong Ly, Quang Thang, Xuan Bac, Van Dung... and director Do Thanh Hai during the rehearsal.

Watching the clip, many people predicted that Tu Long would play the role of Sports God because there was an image of the male artist juggling the ball. The artists also shouted "Vietnam is the champion" during the practice session, so it is very likely that this year's program will have a segment about the Vietnam National Football Team.

Previously, football achievements were mentioned in Tao Quan 2018 for a relatively short time.

Tao Quan 2019 will be recorded at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace on January 25, 26 and 27.

Tao Quan is a special television comedy show that is loved by many viewers. This year, Tao Quan enters its 16th year. After Tao Quan 2018, Chi Trung once expressed that the show should stop because it has reached its "peak".

People's Artist Khai Hung said: "Everyone said to stop, but if we stop, what should we do? We still have to do it. Many people still want to watch it. It's the program of the year. A few people can't say we can't do it." However, the "father" of Tao Quan thinks that the program has reached a point where changes should be made.

Recently, Xuan Bac posted a photo of the rehearsal and shared his “indescribable, happy, proud and sad” feelings when Tao Quan turned 16. The comedian admitted that the program “has its ups and downs”, but at least the artists contributed to creating meaningful laughter for the last day of the year for Vietnamese audiences.

Tao Quan 2019 will be recorded at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace on January 25, 26 and 27. The program will then be edited and broadcast at 8pm on Lunar New Year on VTV.
