Death by tree branch hitting head

(Baonghean) - At 8:30 a.m. this morning, December 20, on Nguyen Trai Street (Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City), a crane with license plate 37-6236 of Hai Duong Trang Company arrived in front of house number 312 to lift a steel truck that had collapsed into a manhole. A resident then asked the crane to remove some branches of a royal poinciana tree. While the crane was removing the branches, it hit another royal poinciana tree, causing it to fall onto the street. A large royal poinciana branch broke and hit Mr. Vu Huy Duc (a resident of Nguyen Trai Street, Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City) in the head, killing him on the spot.

Currently, the authorities have examined the scene and brought the crane to the police station to clarify the incident.
