Tuan Anh faces the risk of being out of competition for 6 months

After 2 weeks of returning to Ham Rong Center (Gia Lai) for training, Tuan Anh's injury has not shown any signs of recovery. The midfielder from Thai Binh still has pain in his right knee every time he moves.
According to the treatment regimen of the doctor from Thailand, after 1 month of training, if Tuan Anh's injury does not improve, he will have to have surgery to completely treat it.
"In two weeks, Tuan Anh will return to Thailand for a check-up. Most likely, he will have to undergo surgery to completely cure the injury," the leader of HAGL Club shared.

Previously, during the preparation for the AFF Cup 2016, the midfielder from Thai Binh was treated with a series of different methods. First, he was injected with platelet-rich plasma to speed up the recovery process. When he arrived in Myanmar, Tuan Anh had to have fluid drained. Then, due to a reaction to the medicine, his legs swelled and he had to be injected with antibiotics.
On November 24, Tuan Anh was taken to Thailand by HAGL Club to examine and treat a knee injury.
Currently, Tuan Anh still hopes that he will not have to undergo surgery, because if he does, the HAGL midfielder will have to rest for 3 to 6 months before he can return to training.
Tuan Anh suffered a 25% meniscus tear and a torn anterior cruciate ligament during a training session near Lunar New Year 2012. The midfielder, born in 1996, needed 6 months of treatment before returning to the field. Because of this injury, Tuan Anh had to miss the opportunity to try out for Olympiakos Club (Greece), as recommended by Coach Wenger. Before the 28th SEA Games in Singapore, Tuan Anh suffered a relapse of his knee injury (biceps femoris) on May 12. After nearly a week of treatment according to a separate training plan, Tuan Anh asked to leave the team because the injury could not be recovered in time. |
