Sharing about this role, artist Tu Oanh confided: "In "Brain Fight", I played a small role, as Mrs. Hanh, the mother of a police officer, the main character played by actor Thanh Son. Mrs. Hanh did not have much screen time, her personality was simple and full of sacrifice. I sympathized with the character because in real life, I also somewhat understood the feelings of mothers and wives of police officers. On one hand, I was very proud of my husband and children's jobs, being a solid support, but I always wanted my husband and children to be safe and not face occupational hazards. I hope that even though I have little screen time in "Brain Fight", I can portray the mother that the director and screenwriter wanted to convey.".

Artist Tu Oanh's role this time is not difficult, but for her, this type of character is not easy to leave an impression. She confided: "The role of a simple and close-to-life mother like Mrs. Hanh is not difficult for the audience to feel, but it is very difficult to make an impression and remember. In fact, I am not worried about a role like Mrs. Bich, but with the role of Mrs. Hanh, I am a little worried.".

Before returning to the screen with the role of Mrs. Bich in "The Taste of Love" and now Mrs. Hanh in "The Battle of Intelligence", artist Tu Oanh has been associated with the Youth Theater for many years, quite close to People's Artists Lan Huong, Le Khanh, the same generation as Meritorious Artist Ngoc Huyen. Among that group of artists, Tu Oanh created a unique personality that cannot be mixed.

After 15 years of not working on the small screen, artist Tu Oanh shared her reasons: "In the past, I was really afraid to act in movies because I was afraid that my work would affect everyone. In addition, in addition to my work at the Youth Theater, I always had a side job to earn more income to cover my living expenses because the income of an artist is... My husband and I are in the same profession, so we have to work together. It could also be because people think that I make more money from business than acting, so they don't call me. This opportunity to come back is like fate and luckily I got a very interesting role. As an actor, I'm not afraid that my character will be hated or not liked by the audience, but I'm only worried that the role is one-dimensional, which limits my creativity.".

Artist Tu Oanh is happy with her current career choices.

The return to the screen of "Taste of Love" last year with artist Tu Oanh had joy but also sadness."I was very stressed when I went to some websites and read some negative comments from the audience. There were many comments that not only talked about the role but also brought up negative comments about the actors who played the role. For a normal person, whose life is peaceful, to be told such things, I really can't get used to it.", artist Tu Oanh shared.

She was "feverish" by some negative comments. Artist Tu Oanh confided: "Maybe it's because I'm old, unlike young people who can read and forget. Those comments stayed in my head all night. Many people around me even told me to stop reading them.".

She enjoys her retirement.

Currently, at retirement age, artist Tu Oanh has finished her work at the Theater and her business, focusing on her TV project. The remaining time, the veteran artist spends time with her family and herself. She still goes out with friends and has many beautiful pictures of the places she has been.
