Local youth launch Youth Month 2014

- Morning of March 2, in Quynh Bang (Quynh Luu),Quynh Luu District Youth UnionCoordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports to organize the Youth Month Launch Ceremony - Quynh Luu District Cross Country Race 2014.

According to the plan for Youth Month 2014, the Standing Committee of Quynh Luu District Youth Union directed the Youth Unions at all levels to organize and implement a number of key activities such as: 100% of the Commune and Town Youth Unions have models, projects, and youth work to participate in environmental protection and socio-economic development; organize the contest "Quality Youth Union Activities"; cultural, artistic, and sports activities to celebrate the 83rd anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; admit 2,000 new members on the occasion of March 26, organize a festival to consult on admissions to high schools and continuing education centers, build and repair 5 houses for disadvantaged people, poor households, etc.

After the launching ceremony, the District Youth Union and the Department of Culture organized the 2014 Cross-country Race with the participation of over 200 athletes from 33 communes and towns. This is a traditional cross-country race organized by the district every year to encourage the sports movement among youth and students in the district, continuing to respond to the movement "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".

- Morning of March 2, at Quynh Loc commune stadium,Hoang Mai Town Youth Unionorganized the launching ceremony to respond to Youth Month 2014 with the participation of more than 600 youth union members from 6 agencies, schools, hospitals and 10 communes and wards in the city.

At the launching ceremony, the Secretary of Hoang Mai Town Youth Union launched the 2014 Youth Month with the theme "Hoang Mai Youth volunteer to build a rich, beautiful and civilized town".

At the ceremony, the youth organizations presented gifts to 30 students with difficult circumstances who have strived to study well, with a total amount of 6 million VND.

After the launching ceremony, the units immediately deployed the action program by marching to promote traffic safety, prevent social evils, environmental sanitation, organize tree planting and provide free medical examination and medicine by young doctors of Quynh Lap Central Leprosy Hospital at Quynh Loc Commune Health Station for more than 200 people, with a total cost of 6 million VND.

On this occasion, the Nghia Dan District Youth Union also presented 6 gifts to families with meritorious services and poor but excellent students in the area. Also in the morning, the 2014 Youth Union Cadre Football Tournament took place.
