Youth of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company contributes 'For a green Vietnam'

Contributing to the action "For a green Vietnam", planting 1 billion trees in the period of 2021 - 2025 according to the call of the Prime Minister in Directive No. 45/CT-TTg (dated December 31, 2020), in March, the union members and youth of Song Lam Nghe An Cement Joint Stock Company joined the Nghe An Business Bloc Union to plant trees in industrial parks in the province. Specifically, the union members of the provincial Business Bloc planted many types of trees in Nam Cam Industrial Park.

Among them, many fruit trees that can create canopy are selected for planting. The tree planting activities of the Youth Union members and youth of Song Lam Nghe An Cement Joint Stock Company and the Youth Union of Nghe An Business Bloc contribute to the goal of planting at least 1 billion trees, of which nearly 700 million trees are planted in urban and rural areas, and more than 300 million trees are planted in concentrated forests. This program not only contributes to greening bare land and hills, but also greening urban areas, production areas and rural areas of Vietnam.

That is one of the important factors contributing to ensuring sustainable production, positively contributing to the local socio-economy and protecting the ecological environment”, Mr. Nguyen Song Hao - Secretary of the Youth Union of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company emphasized.

Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company's grassroots union has more than 700 members (accounting for more than half of the company's employees), operating in 11 branches, in many fields of production and business. This is a highly skilled force, a pioneer in labor, production and actively participating in environmental protection and social security activities of the unit.

Previously, the Youth Union of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Companyactively join handsHelp the government and people of Bai Son commune to improve the landscape, clean the environment, clean and beautify the roads; help people of Nghi Thiet commune (Nghi Loc)build many routestransportation, welfare works.

In particular, during the working process, the Youth Union of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company is the core force, together with all officers, employees and workers of the unit, actively planting trees in the campus, cleaning the production area environment, building green - clean - beautiful factory and enterprise areas.

“Constructions such as the factory’s internal flower road, along with the grass and trees planted in advance, have created a clean and beautiful working environment. Recently, union members and youths also joined hands with staff and workers of the unit to clean the beach in Nghi Thiet...”, Mr. Nguyen Song Hao - Secretary of the Youth Union of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company added.

Currently, Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company has two Clinker kilns in Bai Son (Do Luong), operating with a capacity of 12,000 tons of Clinker/day; Cement grinding station and International port cluster in Nghi Thiet (Nghi Loc). This is one of the largest and most modern cement production units in the country. After more than 5 years of operation, the company has established its own sales channels. Selling in the domestic market and entrusting Vissai Ninh Binh Joint Stock Company to export to markets such as: Hong Kong, Philippines, China, Australia, Mauritius and especially a rather demanding and large market, the US, and many other markets.
