Nghe An youth contribute to taking care of Tet for the poor
(Baonghean.vn) - The youth of Nghe An province have carried out many practical projects and tasks to care for and support poor students, orphans, families with preferential policies, poor households... with the desire to bring the poor a fuller and warmer Lunar New Year 2021.
This year, the students of Dooc May commune (Ky Son) welcomed Tet more warmly when the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized an early year-end meal for the students of the commune. For students in a mountainous commune with many difficulties like Dooc May commune, it is not often that they get to eat a meal with many delicious dishes like this, especially the dishes prepared by the Youth Union members themselves.

In addition, the students were also given warm clothes by the Youth Union members to ease the winter cold. For poor students in Dooc May commune, life is still difficult and deprived, so gifts to students and poor people during Tet are very necessary and timely, to ease some of the deprivation and share love with people in the border areas.
With the desire to share warm love during Lunar New Year,Nghe An Provincial Youth Unionand the Youth Union of Nghe An province, together with sponsors, organized the program "Warm Tet on the border" in the mountainous commune of Dooc May, Ky Son district.

At the program, the Provincial Youth Union presented 10 bicycles to students in difficult circumstances; 170 gifts to poor families; supported the construction of 1 volleyball court and 6 netball sets, presented 1 breeding calf to a young household developing the economy and meaningful gifts to children in Dooc May commune, Ky Son district with a total value of more than 200 million VND.
Sharing, encouraging and helping families and students in remote areas with difficult circumstances to have a warm Tet holiday, while promoting the pioneering and volunteering role of young people in social security activities, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union launched the program "Wrapping Chung Cake - Wrapping Love".
The Chung cake wrapping program is part of the “Happy New Year” event series, in which many Youth Union chapters in the province wrap Chung cakes for poor students. The meaningful Chung cakes are even more meaningful when they appear on the New Year’s Eve dinner tray for children in disadvantaged areas.

Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Le Van Luong said that with the spirit of "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind", the "Warm Tet in the border" program is one of the important activities that the province has paid great attention to in recent years to bring children and people a warm and prosperous Tet;
These are practical activities responding to the movement.“Tet for the poor”2021 to share the difficulties and deprivation of ethnic minorities in the highlands; at the same time, encourage officers, soldiers and ethnic minorities in the border areas of the country to celebrate Tet. This is also a beautiful humane and compassionate feature in the whole society so that "no one is left behind" when Tet comes and spring comes.
Many activities to support the poor
Taking care of Tet for young workers is an annual activity maintained by the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union every year to share difficulties with young workers. Recently, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union visited, encouraged and presented 20 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to young workers in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2021.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - a worker at Halotexco Joint Stock Company shared: "My husband passed away in 2017 due to kidney failure. Since then, I have been alone, raising my children and paying for my own medical expenses. It's hard work, but I always tell myself to try harder. Today, I am very touched and happy to have you visit and encourage me."

Along with visiting and giving gifts to workers in difficult circumstances, the Provincial Youth Union - Provincial Youth Union also presented many gifts and organized free buses from Vinh City to localities for union members, youth, workers, and students from Nghe An who work far away and return home to welcome them.Lunar New Year2021.

In addition, in some localities, youth volunteers are mobilized to whitewash, paint, and repair houses for single-parent families and those in especially difficult circumstances. Sharing the joy of celebrating the traditional New Year of the nation, many poor households in the province also have the joy of welcoming spring in a new house called "House of Charity" so that the poor have more joy and motivation to improve their lives.
Along with provincial activities, this is also the time when Youth Union and Association branches in the whole province organize many activities to care for the poor and young union members during Tet. Youth Union chapters at all levels in the whole province have based on the practical situation of the locality and units to join hands to care for the poor during Tet with the motto of promoting the volunteer spirit of the youth, joining hands to share for a "Warm Tet - Loving Spring".

During the Lunar New Year 2021, the green volunteer shirts are everywhere on the remote countryside roads. Many poor households have been given "new clothes" by the hands of volunteer students. Along with that, warm clothes or green Chung cakes... have been delivered to the poor, helping them have a joyful and warm Spring.
