Nghi Loc youth look forward to election day

(Baonghean.vn) - Along with the whole country looking forward to the national festival, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in Nghi Loc district have actively promoted and organized many practical activities, contributing to the success of the election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term.

In Nghi Hoa commune, through the form of dramatization, nearly 100 youth union members from the four hamlets of Duc Thanh, Ngoc Duong, Trung Thanh and Hau Hoa were informed about the Party's policies and guidelines and the State's legal documents on elections.

Mr. Nguyen Van Nang - a member of the Duc Thanh Youth Union, Nghi Hoa Commune (Nghi Loc) said: "Through the activities of the Youth Union, it has helped the members and young people understand the meaning and responsibility when exercising their rights and obligations as citizens. Hopefully, each voter's vote will choose the most worthy representatives to represent the people."

Youth Unions at all levels in Nghi Loc are oriented to promote propaganda through activities of building and hanging slogans, billboards, and posters about elections at headquarters of agencies, units, and public places; learning about election work through democratic flower picking contests.

In addition, establish youth volunteer teams and youth shock troops to participate in decorating, serving, and guiding people to participate in the election; transporting the elderly and people with disabilities to polling stations; directing traffic; and protecting the safety of election sites.

Youth Union bases proactively check the number of young voters at their base, contact their workplaces and have a plan to coordinate and mobilize young people to directly participate in local elections.

The District Youth Union also focuses on integrating election content and knowledge into inter-branch meetings and movement activities. Directing 30 communes and towns to simultaneously launch parades to promote and propagate elections on the roads of constituencies; organizing cultural nights to integrate election propaganda in residential areas; launching hundreds of youth projects and tasks, such as dredging canals, giving away flocks of red scarves, cleaning up the environment, etc.

With youth, faith and strong political ideology, we believe that the youth of the whole district with their votes will contribute to choosing dedicated and talented delegates to serve the people and contribute to the country.
