Youth of Nghia Khanh, Nghia Dan with the homeland's sea and islands
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of June 20, the Standing Committee of the Youth Union of Nghia Khanh Commune, Nghia Dan District organized a Cultural Exchange Night with the theme "Nghia Khanh Youth with the Homeland Sea and Islands". Attending were representatives of the Propaganda Department of the District Party Committee, the District Youth Union, commune leaders, secretaries, hamlet heads of hamlet units, neighboring communes, and a large number of local people.

Through the performances, the program clearly demonstrates the purpose of educating patriotism, orienting the awareness, feelings and behaviors of young people and people; promoting the role of the Youth Union, Associations and Teams in implementing educational activities for the young generation. Along with that, it helps cadres, young union members and people to confidently support the policies, viewpoints and solutions of our Party and State on resolving disputes in the East Sea, affirming that China's illegal placement of the Haiyang 981 drilling rig and sending ships, boats and planes into Vietnam's continental shelf and exclusive economic zone are serious violations of the law and should be condemned. In particular, we need to further heighten vigilance and resolutely fight against political opportunists who take advantage of China's move to bring the drilling rig into our country's waters to incite and divide the great solidarity among the people, distort the foreign policy and guidelines of our Party and State, and cause disorder and insecurity in the locality.
The cultural exchange night called on cadres, party members, youth union members, companies, businesses, philanthropists and people from all walks of life to donate and support Hoang Sa and Truong Sa with a total amount of more than 17 million VND. At the exchange night, Nghia Khanh commune delegation also awarded 4 individuals with excellent articles at the commune level that will be sent to the district to participate in the contest "Nghia Dan Youth with the homeland's sea and islands" launched by the District Youth Union throughout the area.
