Quynh Luu Youth Union presents gifts of gratitude to 17 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 20, Quynh Luu District Youth Union coordinated with the Young Pioneers' Council and the children who are representatives of Uncle Ho's Good Children to visit and give gifts to 17 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Quynh Luu District.

Visit and give gifts to VNAH mother Nguyen Thi Hien, mother of 2 martyrs in hamlet 12, Quynh Hau commune.

With the moral of drinking water, remembering its source, in order to educate the revolutionary tradition of the nation to the young generation, on this occasion, Quynh Luu District Youth Union organized a visit and gave gifts to 17 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Quynh Luu District. Each gift worth 300,000 VND was taken from the gratitude fund.

Visiting and presenting gifts to the heroic mothers of Vietnam, the youth of Quynh Luu district expressed their gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs and the great sacrifices of the mothers to regain independence and freedom for the country. At the same time, they promised to promote the revolutionary tradition of their ancestors, compete to study and train well to become good children and good students, and become future owners to build and preserve a strong and prosperous country.

In a series of activities to welcome the 17th Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children of Quynh Luu district in 2015, the district's youth launched many meaningful emulation movements such as taking care of the gardens and fish ponds of policy families, launching a movement to take care of martyrs' cemeteries and memorials in communes and towns with the motto "eternal gratitude to heroic martyrs".
