Tuong Duong district has a large area and a sparse population, so to get to the exam locations, many candidates have to travel almost all day. Therefore, most of them have to stay in rented accommodation to take part in the exam. Many of them have difficult family circumstances. Knowing this, every time there is a youth exam, Tuong Duong district has many activities to motivate the candidates. At this year's high school graduation exam, union members and youth organized to cook and give free meals to candidates and their families who are in difficult circumstances. Photo: Dinh Tuan |

After preparing the food, the Youth Union members put the rice and other foods in boxes and delivered them to the exam sites to distribute to the candidates. Lo Thi Kieu Vi from Pot village, Nga My commune (Tuong Duong) said: “My house is far from the exam site, so it is very difficult to go to and from the exam site after each exam day, so we have to stay for two days. When I went to do the exam registration procedures, I saw the volunteers in the “Exam Support” team announce that they would be giving out free rice to candidates in difficult circumstances, so I signed up. The meals and bottles of water not only help us ease our difficulties but also motivate us to do better on the exam.” Photo: Dinh Tuan |
