(Baonghean.vn) - Due to the impact of storm No. 11, on October 20, thousands of cubic meters of rock and soil collapsed onto the road connecting Bai Xa and Lien Huong villages (Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong). This situation caused the two villages of Lien Huong and Tung Huong to be completely isolated.

The incident has been going on for several days and has yet to be resolved by the authorities. Faced with the situation, many people in Tung Huong village have voluntarily brought hoes and shovels to the landslide site to clear the road so that people can pass.

Many people from Tung Huong village participated in digging the ground to open a temporary road.

Because the amount of rock and soil that collapsed was large, over a long stretch, and located at a high, dangerous mountain point, they could only clear the road for people to walk and ride motorbikes out of the village.

Mr. La Van Quang (Tung Huong village) said: Since the landslide, he and everyone had to go up here twice to dig the road for people to travel. The landslide was too big, and there was a water stream, so after digging, it collapsed again.

Mr. Lo Minh Truong, head of Tung Huong village, said: "After the landslide, we reported this issue to the commune. The next day, we saw someone from the district's Department of Industry and Trade come to measure the landslide, but since then there has been no movement."
