(Baonghean.vn) -Due to continuous heavy rains throughout the day and night, at around 4:00 a.m. on September 6, at Cay Me location, Thach Giam commune (Tuong Duong district), a landslide occurred with a large volume of landslide rock and soil (about over 500 m3) that filled National Highway 7, causing traffic jams for people and vehicles.
At Cua Rao point, Xa Luong commune also suffered a landslide, with over 300 m3 of rock and soil burying National Highway 7. Road Company 495 mobilized excavators to work continuously from 5am to 9am to clear the road. Heavy rain also caused landslides at 7 points on the road from Ban Ve Hydropower Plant to Yen Tinh, 3 points in Yen Tinh commune alone, and water flooded Cha Ha stream, causing landslides on the road. The district mobilized 1 excavator to Xieng Nua village to Yen Na commune, Yen Tinh to level the rock and soil to clear the road for the people.
