Tuong Duong after 2 years of implementing Resolution 30a/CP

Implementing the Investment Project to develop agricultural, forestry and fishery production, Tuong Duong district has reclaimed 75 hectares of production land, restored 1.4 hectares, and developed more400 buffaloes and cows, support for building 2,400 livestock barns... Total project cost is more than 13 billion VND.

During the implementation process, some models initially brought high economic efficiency, such as: raising porcupines in Luu Kien and Xa Luong, raising wild boars in Tam Quang and Yen Na, raising black pigs in Thach Giam... By the end of 2010, the whole district had eliminated more than 1,900 temporary houses, increased the rate of solidified classrooms to 70%, and the rate of malnourished children decreased to 25%...

Regarding vocational training and labor export, the District People's Committee proactively coordinated with relevant departments and enterprises operating in the field of labor export to organize consultation conferences for the people. Thanks to that, people have initially become familiar with sending their children to work abroad to increase their income and improve their lives. At the same time, the District Vocational Training Center organized short-term vocational training classes for nearly 300 rural workers. Along with that, nearly 5,500 people participated in agricultural and forestry extension training, and nearly 4,000 people were trained in wet rice production techniques.

Implementing the cadre policy, the People's Committee of Tuong Duong district rotated 4 cadres to strengthen the communes, attracting 51 young intellectuals to work in particularly difficult communes. The young cadres always stick close to the grassroots, go deep into each village and each household to promptly advise the communes to effectively implement the temporary housing elimination program according to Decision 167/QD-TTg, reclaiming rice fields, protecting forests...

Regarding the policy of investing in infrastructure construction, in 2009, Tuong Duong district invested capital to build the power grid system of Xieng My commune (7 billion VND), Dinh Phong suspension bridge (7 billion VND) and Bai Xa - Tung Huong traffic road, Tam Quang commune (11 billion VND). In 2010, the district implemented the construction of 4 projects: traffic roads to Na Be and Hop Thanh villages (Xa Luong), Tung Huong village power line system (Tam Quang), Tam Hop commune power line system, domestic water supply system for Khoi and Xoong Con villages (Tam Thai).

Implementing Resolution 30a/CP, Tuong Duong district was sponsored by 2 enterprises with a total amount of 43 billion VND. Of which, Vietnam National Shipping Lines supported 17 billion VND to build the DTNT Secondary School. Up to now, the site clearance work has been completed and investment and construction preparation has been completed. Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade committed to supporting 26 billion VND to build 05 medical stations, 02 schools and 01 community bridge.

Up to now, 5 projects have been completed and put into use: Health stations in Yen Tinh, Yen Thang, Yen Hoa communes and secondary schools in Yen Tinh and Nga My communes. Construction of the bridge for people in Cua Rao 2 village and the Health station in Thach Giam commune are underway.
