Tuong Duong: Measles - Rubella vaccination round 2-2014

(Baonghean.vn) - Pursuant to plan No. 370/KH-UBND-VX, dated July 21, 2014 of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, on the implementation of the measles-rubella vaccination campaign in 2014-2015, from November 17 to 28, Tuong Duong district implemented the second measles-rubella vaccination campaign for children aged 1-14 in the area.

In the first phase of the campaign, Tuong Duong district carried out vaccination in the four most difficult communes, namely Luong Minh, Huu Khuong, Nhon Mai, Mai Son, with over 3,556 children. Thanks to good propaganda and mobilization work, as well as learning from the measles outbreak in Pieng Coc, Mai Son commune, people in the four communes brought their children to be fully vaccinated, reaching a rate of 100%. This phase, the number of children expected to be vaccinated against measles - rubella is over 16 thousand children, in the remaining communes: Luu Kien, Xa Luong, Thach Giam, Tam Thai, Thi Tran, Tam Dinh, Tam Quang, Tam Hop, Yen Na, Yen Tinh, Yen Thang, Yen Hoa, Nga My, Xieng My.
