General Nguyen Huu Cau directs traffic police to limit alcohol concentration measurement to prevent Corona virus epidemic

That was one of the instructions of Major General Nguyen Huu Cau - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police at the conference on deploying solutions to prevent and combat the Corona virus epidemic organized by the Provincial Police on the morning of February 1. Attending the conference were comrades in the Board of Directors, Chiefs of Police of units and localities.

Faced with the complicated developments of the Corona virus, the Provincial Police have developed a Plan to proactively prevent and combat the Corona virus epidemic. Accordingly, the Police of units and localities coordinate with functional agencies to effectively carry out medical quarantine work, especially at air, road and waterway border gates.

Through immigration management and residence management, quickly review, grasp information, and count the number of foreign tourists coming to Nghe An, especially Chinese people or people returning from China, to propagate these people to provide information about their health status, hometown, and itinerary to classify and have quarantine measures for suspected cases.

Major General Nguyen Huu Cau - Director of the Provincial Police concluded: To proactively prevent and fight the Corona virus epidemic in the community, first of all, each officer and soldier must raise their awareness of self-protection. The Director of the Provincial Police agreed to allow officers and soldiers to wear medical masks when contacting and working with people, especially with traffic police and police working at the one-stop department, they are allowed to wear masks while on duty.

During this time, Nghe An Provincial Police temporarily suspend visits to prisoners and detainees at Detention Centers and local police.

Traffic police should limit the use of alcohol concentration measurement on drivers only when absolutely necessary and have alcohol solution to clean the breathalyzer.

Police units and localities must regularly clean their headquarters to make them green, clean, and beautiful to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. At the same time, they must educate officers and soldiers to take proactive measures to prevent and fight the epidemic in their units and families.
