Recruiting 30 candidates for master's degree study abroad under Japanese Government scholarship
The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced the recruitment of candidates for the Human Resource Development Scholarship Program for Vietnam, provided by the Japanese Government with non-refundable aid in 2015, academic year 2016-2017.
Candidates will study a two-year master's program taught in English at Japanese universities.
Training fields include: Strengthening the market economic system (Public Economics, Public Administration), Transport/Urban Development, Energy, Agriculture and Rural Development, Environment (Climate Change and Disaster Prevention), Strengthening the judicial function (Law) and Strengthening public administrative capacity.
The training program will equip officials with modern analytical and management skills to be able to perform well the state management tasks in various fields.
Candidates are exempted from TOEFL ITP test fees and health check-ups organized by JICE, supported with travel and accommodation expenses for qualifying rounds (only for candidates outside Hanoi) and orientation courses in Hanoi, and exempted from visa application fees (for all successful candidates).
Upon acceptance, candidates will be covered for tuition, round-trip airfare, monthly living expenses, health insurance and other expenses.

The program is expected to accept up to 30 master's students for the 2016-2017 academic year.
The scholarship is for officials and civil servants working at state agencies, public universities and colleges nationwide, with at least two years of full-time experience in the state sector (including at least six months of full-time work at the current agency).
Candidates must be between 24 and 39 years old (as of April 1, 2016), graduated from a regular university in Vietnam or abroad.
Candidates must commit to continue working for the Vietnamese government agency that sent them to study after completing the study program.
Deadline for application is 5:00 p.m. on October 23.
