Commendation of 200 "Progressive Youth following Uncle Ho's teachings"
This morning, August 17, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held the 3rd Ceremony to commend outstanding youth following Uncle Ho's teachings - 2014.
Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Hong Anh, Politburo member, Standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat; comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Politburo member, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly; comrade Dao Ngoc Dung, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies; comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union; comrades leading the Central Youth Union, ministries, branches, and 200 delegates of union members and advanced youth following Uncle Ho's teachings in 2014.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the Party and State, comrade Le Hong Anh commended the achievements that all levels of the Youth Union nationwide have achieved in recent times.
Comrade Le Hong Anh said that the Youth Union at all levels needs to step up inspection and supervision work; disseminate experiences and good practices of localities and units to replicate and develop appropriately in the Youth Union and youth. Focus on taking care of moral education, lifestyle, and nurturing revolutionary ideals for young people, especially the work of educating traditions, ideals, the spirit of vanguard, volunteering for the community and the prosperity of the country for young people.

“Each young person should set for themselves very specific goals and learning content and follow Uncle Ho's example; seriously evaluate and self-examine their daily implementation so that their mind becomes clearer, their intelligence becomes brighter, and their ambitions become bigger,” Comrade Le Hong Anh emphasized.
During the three years of implementing Directive 03-CT/TW of the Politburo on “Continuing to promote studying and following the moral example of Ho Chi Minh” in the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Youth Union chapters at all levels have made many efforts and innovations. At the same time, they have always tried to promote the Directive to be in line with the tasks of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the political tasks of each locality and unit.

Cadres, union members, and youth have clearly recognized the need to study and follow the ideology, moral example, and working style of the great President Ho Chi Minh. Since then, the work of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has had many positive changes, especially the work of educating morality, lifestyle, and revolutionary ideals.
In the past year, there have appeared many examples of outstanding young people, typical advanced models, new models, and good ways of following Uncle Ho's teachings in all areas of society such as "pot of porridge of love", "grab of rice of love", "jar of friendship rice named after red scarf", "charity meal", "house of friendship"...
