Propaganda to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of comrade To Hieu
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 22, the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued Official Dispatch 768-CV/BTGTU on propaganda to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of comrade To Hieu, a senior leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution (1912 - 2022).
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested localities and units to propagate the life, revolutionary activities and great contributions of Comrade To Hieu - a communist soldier of the first generation of the Party to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese people. Especially his contributions in restoring and consolidating party organizations and revolutionary movements; leading the revolution in Lien Khu B; directing workers' strikes; organizing the struggle against the brutal regime of Son La prison, upholding the spirit of communists with the spirit of "turning imperialist prisons into revolutionary schools".

Propagating the noble moral qualities of comrade To Hieu - the man "Determined to fight for the Party and the revolution all his life". Affirming that "To Hieu's Spirit" is a symbol of will, revolutionary spirit, of faith and victory, a source of motivation and encouragement for tens of thousands of communist soldiers, making the enemy terrified, forever passed down in revolutionary generations, a priceless asset for the revolutionary cause of the Party and of the nation's history.
At the same time, organize propaganda activities in diverse, rich and practical forms such as: Propaganda on billboards, posters, slogans, newspapers, loudspeaker systems, social networks, party cell newsletters, oral propaganda, reporters... to create a widespread influence among cadres, party members and people of all walks of life.
The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department also requested the provincial press agencies to organize reception, broadcast, and publish programs, reports, and articles of the main central press agencies; and create news and propaganda articles about the life and career of comrade To Hieu in all types of provincial press.
Comrade To Hieu was born in 1912 in a poor patriotic Confucian family in Xuan Cau village, Nghia Tru commune, Van Giang district, Hung Yen province. Joining the revolution since he was a teenager, he was an excellent leader of the Party, contributing to building and developing the revolutionary movement in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, and restoring the Bac Ky Regional Party Committee at the end of 1936. During his imprisonment by the enemy in 1940 at Son La prison, despite having severe tuberculosis, as Secretary of the prison Party cell, Comrade To Hieu still enthusiastically participated in leading his fellow prisoners in the struggle, maintaining revolutionary spirit, and having many important activities "turning the prison into a school", training many excellent cadres for the Party and the revolution. Throughout his life of revolutionary activities, comrade To Hieu was always an exemplary communist, with strong political will, pure moral qualities, and determined to sacrifice himself for the cause of national liberation.
