"Propaganda for development linkages between dynamic economic regions"

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of November 14, 2013, in Kon Tum, the Central and Central Highlands party newspapers held the 3rd round 4 conference.

Comrades: Nguyen Van Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Kon Tum Provincial People's Committee; Pham Quoc Toan - Vice President of Vietnam Journalists Association attended and delivered welcoming speeches and directed the conference.

Overview of the Workshop

At the workshop, the papers' presentations not only clarified the position, meaning and importance, but also exchanged experiences and proposed many good, practical and effective solutions and methods in promoting the development linkage of dynamic economic zones - a task that the provinces have carried out.

At the workshop, the Nghe An newspaper delegation also highlighted the results of organizing propaganda to develop the three key economic zones that the province is focusing on to make Nghe An a fairly developed province by 2015 and an industrial province by 2020, and at the same time proposed a number of recommendations to contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of propaganda on this content.

The newspapers also organized a signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding to regularly exchange information and share experiences to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the Central Highlands route to develop rapidly and sustainably. At the same time, they visited the new rural construction model in Dak Ha district, Mang Den eco-tourism area, Kon Plong district.

The conference's organizing committee launched a campaign to raise 54 million VND from newspapers, of which 20 million VND was used to support journalist Nguyen Thi Hong Sen - Duc Pho District Radio and Television Station, Quang Ngai Province, who was swept away by floodwaters while on duty. The remaining amount was given to Kon Tum Newspaper to build a solidarity house for poor households.

At the end of the conference, the Organizing Committee awarded the flag to Thua Thien Hue Newspaper, the host of the conference in 2014. Also from next year onwards, the Central and Central Highlands Party Newspaper Conference will be held once a year, instead of twice as at present.
