Vietnam U19 team won 5-1 against Hong Kong U19
Vietnam U19 team had a big 5-1 victory over Hong Kong U19 (China) in the second match of Group F of the Asian U19 qualifiers (Asian Cup). Vietnam U19's goals were scored by Cong Phuong (double), Van Toan, Thanh Tung and Van Son.
With this victory, U19 Vietnam currently has 6 points and a goal difference of +9. This is a significant advantage for U19 Vietnam in competing for a ticket (if considering the best second-place team's goal difference) to the final round of the U19 Asia next year.

However, coach Guillaume's team still has the right to decide the direct ticket, if they win against U19 Australia.
With the determination to win with a big score, U19 Vietnam proactively played high and soon got the opening goal from Cong Phuong.
In the 10th minute, Cong Phuong fired a long shot from more than 20 meters away, the ball went lightly but dangerously, making it impossible for the opposing goalkeeper to block. 1-0 for U19 Vietnam.
After this goal, coach Guillaume urged his players to continue playing high to score more goals. Having more goals will help U19 Vietnam have more chances to win tickets to the next round.
However, U19 Hong Kong took the initiative to play defense. Hong Kong players are tall and not afraid of collision, causing U19 Vietnam to encounter many difficulties.
It was not until the 34th minute of the match that U19 Vietnam doubled the gap thanks to Van Toan.
In the last minute of the first half, U19 Vietnam raised the score to 3-0. This goal was credited to Thanh Tung. This was also the score of the first 45 minutes of play.
Entering the second half, U19 Vietnam continued to play high to find more goals, while U19 Hong Kong did not play as tightly as in the first 45 minutes of the match.
In the 61st minute, Le Van Son scored to raise the score to 4-0 for U19 Vietnam. 7 minutes later, the score was raised to 5-0 and the scorer was Cong Phuong. This was also Phuong's 5th goal in this tournament.
However, just 2 minutes later, U19 Hong Kong also scored the first goal, shortening the score to 1-5 after Tsang Tsx Hin's volley.
In the 78th minute, U19 Vietnam had a beautiful attack but unfortunately the final shot went wide of the post.
In the remaining minutes of the match, U19 Vietnam tried very hard but unfortunately no more goals were scored. The score of 5-1 in favor of Vietnam was also the final score of this match.
