In addition, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) also sent a document to the Indonesian Football Federation requesting to ensure the safety of the Vietnamese team when they visit here.
On the afternoon of January 4, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - President of VFF said: Before the Vietnamese team went to Indonesia, the Indonesian side required the team members to have a visa to enter the country even though it was not required before.

Mr. Tuan therefore had to call the General Secretary of the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF) to intervene, through which Indonesia accepted the Vietnamese team's entry without a visa.
VFF also requested that there be a separate entry route for the team upon arrival at the airport. On the afternoon of January 4, when the Vietnamese team arrived at the Indonesian airport, the entry process went smoothly.
To ensure security for the Indonesia-Vietnam semi-final, AFF invited security experts and competition organizers from FIFA and AFC to Indonesia to assist. The match between Indonesia and Vietnam also had 2 supervisors.
It is known that on January 6, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan will also be present in Indonesia to stand side by side and support all related work for the team.
