Coach Park Hang-seo has prioritized free-flowing exercises with the ball. The purpose is to help the players regain their spirit and relax their muscles after the long journey from Vietnam to Japan. Goalkeeper Dang Van Lam also joined the exercises with his two teammates in the goalkeeping position, Nguyen Manh and Tan Truong.

However, the team's first training session did not go as planned. After the warm-up, it rained heavily, the temperature dropped, and the wind was very strong, making it difficult for the players to control the ball. Worried that the health of the players might be affected by such adverse weather conditions, coach Park Hang-seo decided to blow the whistle to withdraw the team after less than 50 minutes of training.

According to the weather forecast, the chance of rain tomorrow is still quite high at 60%. However, due to the importance of the training session, Coach Park Hang-seo and his team will certainly have to make an effort to overcome it in order to have the best preparation for the match with the Japanese team, taking place on March 29.
Also related to Covid-19, the host organization has applied very strict principles to ensure disease prevention. In addition to requiring all team members to operate in an absolutely "closed bubble", measures to trace and separate cases identified as having close contact with F0 are also thoroughly implemented.
These strict epidemic prevention regulations were applied during the pandemic outbreak worldwide. However, at present, when the epidemic prevention work has moved to the stage of flexible adaptation and effective control of the Covid-19 epidemic, the above principles have many points that are no longer suitable for reality, thereby unintentionally creating quite a stressful mentality for the coaching staff and players of the Vietnam National Team.
