Cua Lo Town organizes the tandem bicycle race "Journey of connecting love"
(Baonghean) - On the morning of November 25, the Executive Board of the Thu Thuy Ward Gender Violence Prevention Project (Cua Lo Town) organized a tandem bicycle race for couples with the theme "a journey of connecting love for a community without violence".
Participating in the tournament were 16 couples selected from 6 blocks, under 40 years old, of good moral character, living and working in the ward; The athlete pairs ran through the distances specified by the organizing committee and each couple had to bring home a flag with a message about gender equality.
The tandem bicycle race “Journey of Love Connection” is an opportunity for each individual and each family to demonstrate their responsibility in implementing, promoting and mobilizing the community to join hands in action for a community without violence. At the same time, in response to the World Day for Prevention of Gender Violence, as well as raising awareness among all people in implementing the Law on Gender Equality and the Law on Prevention of Domestic Violence, building a warm, equal, progressive and happy family.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the groups and couples with high achievements in the competition.
