Hoang Mai Town: Providing knowledge of national defense and security for subject 4

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 8, at the town's political training center, the National Defense and Security Education Council of Hoang Mai town held the opening ceremony of the National Defense and Security knowledge training class for the 4th graders of 2014.

The class includes 60 students who are professional civil servants, part-time officials, commune-level People's Council delegates, Party cell secretaries and deputy secretaries, and heads of villages, blocks, and hamlets of 10 wards and communes in the area.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Ho Xuan Tu - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee - Commander of the Military Command of Hoang Mai Town informed the trainees about the situation in the East Sea, the Party and State's policies on peaceful struggle. He reviewed the national security situation in the town in the first 6 months of the year, paying special attention to a number of "strange religions" that appeared in the town, making religious life more complicated... He clearly stated that the purpose of the class is to equip the core forces at the grassroots with basic knowledge of national security and defense. Thereby, they will grasp the policies and guidelines of the Party and State to have a direction for propaganda and mobilization of local people to comply with the laws of the State, actively participate in protecting the Party and building an increasingly clean and strong government.

The course will take place from July 8 to 11, 2014. Students will be introduced to 5 topics. At the end of the course, students will write a report, the Organizing Committee will evaluate the learning results and issue a certificate of completion to the students./.
