Hoang Mai Town: Urgently call on ships to return to safe anchorage

(Baonghean.vn) -In order to proactively respond to storm No. 13 named HAIYAN approaching the coast of our country, to ensure that vehicles operating at sea know the situation of the storm, the Flood and Storm Prevention Command of Hoang Mai Town has directed coastal localities and Quynh Phuong Border Guard Station to urgently notify vehicle owners of the developments of storm No. 13 to return to safe shelters.

Hoang Mai town currently has 926 vessels, of which 355 have a capacity of over 90CV. As of 3:00 p.m. on November 8, the entire town had 409 vessels safely docked and 517 vessels operating at sea had received information about the storm and were on their way to seek shelter from the storm. In addition, to ensure the safety of the vessels, Hoang Mai town has directed coastal localities together with Border Guard Station 144 to help fishermen anchor and avoid collisions between vessels causing damage to people./.
