Voter turnout in many localities across the country reached over 90%.
Updated information from the National Election Council, as of 5:00 p.m., the total number of voters nationwide participating in the vote was 63,312,495 voters (95.84%), of which 32,115 Election Teams had 100% of voters participating in the vote.

In Ho Chi Minh City, by 5:30 p.m., the local voter turnout rate reached nearly 95%. There were 16 communes and wards with 100% voter turnout.
In Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces, where many voters are workers, local election committees and trade unions at all levels have created favorable conditions to arrange suitable working hours for worker voters to exercise their rights and responsibilities. By 5:30 p.m., over 97% of Dong Nai voters had gone to vote. Binh Duong province had a voter turnout rate of less than 50% this afternoon, but up to now it has reached 79.6%.
In Long An, the voter turnout rate reached 91.54% and widespread heavy rain is somewhat affecting the voting. Localities in Long An continue to encourage voters to go to the polling stations as soon as the rain stops, to exercise their right to vote.
In Hanoi, there are 1,164 polling stations with 100% of voters having voted. Thus, the whole city has over 4.9 million voters who have voted, reaching 94.54% of the total number of voters. Currently, the remaining 3,711 polling stations in the city that have not had 100% of voters coming to vote are still open to welcome the last voters before the voting hours close as prescribed at 7:00 p.m. tonight. Most of these polling stations are only short of less than 10%, some places are short of more than 1% of voters who have not voted.
In the northeastern localities, Bac Giang province had more than 1,126,000 voters go to the polls, reaching a rate of 88.5%. Of which, 208 polling stations achieved a 100% voter turnout rate. Son Dong district achieved the highest rate of more than 98.3%, other localities were all close to 90%.
In Bac Kan, the number of voters participating in the vote reached 95.69% of the province's voters. There were 18/122 communes with 100% of voters going to vote, and 375/889 election teams had 100% of voters going to vote.
In Cao Bang province, 97.61% of voters went to the polls. All 13 districts and cities in Cao Bang province had over 90% of voters. Of which, the highest were 2 districts: Ha Lang, Tra Linh with nearly 100% of voters going to the polls; districts: Ha Quang, Nguyen Binh, Phuc Hoa and Cao Bang city had the number of voters going to the polls all reaching over 99%.
In Lang Son, by 3pm, the voter turnout was 95%. 661/1886 polling stations reached 100%, 25/265 communes voted, reaching 100%.
Quang Ninh province has 916,610 voters with 1,471 polling stations. As of 2:00 p.m. this afternoon, the number of voters in Quang Ninh province participating in the vote is 850,971 people (reaching 92.84% of the total number of voters in the province). The province has 431/1,471 areas with voters participating in the vote reaching 100%.
In Hai Phong, 1.3 million voters went to the polls, reaching a rate of 86.77%. Some districts with high voter turnout rates up to this point are Do Son, Hong Bang, Kien An, and Cat Hai.
In the Central Highlands, by 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, many localities in the Central Highlands had reached a voting rate of 98%. Of which, in the entire Kon Tum province, 98% of voters had exercised their civil rights. In Lam Dong, over 400 polling stations had completed voting and 33/147 communes, wards and towns had completed voting. In Dak Lak, 96.8% of the province's total of more than 1.27 million voters had gone to vote.
Due to prolonged heavy rain, Dak Nong province only reached nearly 90% voter turnout by 3 p.m. Localities in the province are continuing to mobilize and help voters get to the polling stations as soon as the rain stops, ensuring that all voters are able to vote according to regulations.
In the Central region, by 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, most provinces and cities in the Central region had basically completed the election early. Quang Binh had nearly 97% of voters voting. Quang Ngai had more than 99.54% of voters voting. Quang Nam had 99.87% of voters voting. Binh Dinh had 99.6% of voters voting. Thua Thien Hue had 99.93% of voters voting.
By 4pm this afternoon, nearly 98% of voters in Ha Tinh province had participated in voting. In Nghe An, by 5pm, the voter turnout rate was 92.63%. In Da Nang city, 697,610 voters went to the polls, reaching a rate of 95.74%.

For the southwestern provinces, according to a quick report from the Bac Lieu Provincial Election Committee, as of 2 p.m. this afternoon, the number of voters who went to the polls reached 92%. Localities with high voter turnout rates were Phuoc Long district at 98% and Dong Hai at 97%.
A quick report from the National Assembly Election Committee and the People's Council of Can Tho City said that by early this afternoon, Can Tho City had nearly 879,900 voters participating in the vote, reaching more than 91% of voters. There were 314/1,003 election teams with 100% voter turnout, reaching a rate of 31%.
Voter participation rate in Ca Mau reached over 97%, Soc Trang reached 99%, Tien Giang reached nearly 97%.
Information from the northwestern mountainous provinces shows that as of noon today, Ha Giang province had 499,633 voters participating in the vote, reaching 97.28%. The entire Ha Giang province has more than 500,000 voters, with 1,498 polling stations.
In Son La province, over 97% of voters have fulfilled their rights and obligations; over 60% of voting teams have completed their tasks; 62 communes have 100% voter turnout.
In Lai Chau province, 97.57% of voters went to vote; 667/906 polling stations were completed and 42/45 communes completed the election. In Dien Bien province, 98% of voters completed the voting.
In Yen Bai province, by 3:30 p.m., over 99% of voters had completed voting. Of which, in the two mountainous districts of Mu Cang Chai and Tram Tau, 100% of voters had gone to vote.
According to the report of the Hoa Binh Provincial Election Committee, as of early this afternoon, 96.8% of voters had gone to the polls, of which 126/210 communes reached 100%; 1,408/1,683 voting groups reached 100%.
According to regulations, at exactly 7:00 p.m. tonight, all polling stations will simultaneously open ballot boxes and count votes in the presence of candidates, those authorized by candidates, those authorized by candidates or representatives of candidate agencies, and press reporters.
