The disbursement rate of public investment capital in Nghe An province reached nearly 42%.
With the strong direction of the provincial leaders, and the active participation of the entire political system, the disbursement rate of public investment capital in Nghe An province in the past 7 months achieved good results, higher than the national average.
According to the Department of Planning and Investment, as of July 20, 2024, the total public investment plan has disbursed VND 3,800,891 billion, reaching 41.88% (36.43% higher than the same period); of which, the concentrated public investment capital managed by the province has disbursed VND 1,850,891 billion, reaching 39.99%.
Some capital sources have achieved good results such as: National Target Program on New Rural Construction (65.64%), foreign capital (73.74%), lottery revenue (61.66%).

There are 27 investors with disbursement rates of over 50%, including 11 districts, cities and towns: Nghi Loc (51.82%), Thanh Chuong (52.1%), Nghia Dan (52.95%), Do Luong (54.31%), Quynh Luu (57.75%), Nam Dan (58.81%), Dien Chau (59.21%), Tan Ky (63.81%), Yen Thanh (67.11%), Hoang Mai (67.51%), Vinh (75.62%).
16 investor units (outside the district), including: Quy Hop 3 High School (50.18%), Nghi Loc 3 High School (55.72%), Thanh Chuong 3 High School (59.15%), Nghe An Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality (68.56%), Department of Education and Training (69.73%), Ky Son District Party Committee (69.74%), Muong Qua High School (70.42%).
Tan Ky Irrigation Company Limited (86.5%), Quynh Luu 3 High School (88.31%), Do Luong 3 High School (88.95%), Dien Chau 4 High School (90.08%), Nghe An Oncology Hospital (92.31%), Yen Thanh District General Hospital (100%), Do Luong District General Hospital (100%), Nghe An Radio and Television Station (100%), Ha Huy Tap High School (100%).
Currently, the province is urging investors and contractors to continue to focus on directing and speeding up the construction progress of projects: Coastal road from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) - Cua Lo (Nghe An) from Km7 - Km76; Traffic road connecting Vinh - Cua Lo (phase 2); Traffic road connecting from National Highway 7C (Do Luong) to Ho Chi Minh Road (Tan Ky)...
By the end of July, the Coastal Road Project from Nghi Son (Thanh Hoa) - Cua Lo (Nghe An) section from Km7 - Km76 had a construction and installation value of about 2,290 billion VND, reaching 82% of the contract.
The traffic road project connecting National Highway 7C (Do Luong) to Ho Chi Minh Road (Tan Ky) has a construction and installation value of about 513 billion VND until the end of July 2024, reaching 96% of the contract.
The Vinh - Cua Lo road project has a construction value of about VND 872,460 billion until the end of July 2024, reaching 85% of the contract. It is expected that the main route will be completed by July 30, 2024, and put into operation.

In addition, the Khe Lai - Vuc Mau Irrigation System Project (phase 1) has been approved for compensation for site clearance and conversion of forest use purposes. It is under construction and has blocked the main dam. Up to now, it has been built to an elevation of +44.7m (the dam crest elevation is +49.00m).
As of July 10, 2024, this project has disbursed VND 39,368 billion (reaching 19.39%); it is expected that by December 31, 2024, 100% of the assigned capital will be disbursed.
Regarding the Ban Mong Reservoir project, Nghe An province is in the process of preparing documents to adjust the investment project, expected to be submitted to the People's Committee of Nghe An province before October 31, 2024.
The province is also actively coordinating with the Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) to implement investment procedures for the project of renovating and expanding the aircraft parking lot of Vinh Airport, expected to start construction in the fourth quarter of 2024. Continue to coordinate with investors to actively speed up the construction progress of wharf No. 6 of Cua Lo port, soon deploy the Cua Lo port dredging project and the Cua Lo deep-water port project.
However, the disbursement rate of some capital sources is still slow, such as: The national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas has only disbursed 25.67%. The national target program for sustainable poverty reduction has only disbursed 12.44%, and the extended capital has reached 21.84%.
In the province, there are still 5 agencies and units with a disbursement rate of 0% and 28 agencies and units with disbursement but the disbursement rate is still low, below 39.99%.
