Continue to support construction and speed up the progress of the 500kV line project, circuit 3
On the afternoon of July 24, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired a meeting between the Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Electricity Group on issues related to logistics and support for the construction of the 500kV line project, circuit 3, through Nghe An.
Also attending were comrades: Pham Hong Phuong - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN); Pham Le Phu - General Director of National Power Transmission Corporation.
The 500kV line project, circuit 3, from Quang Trach (Quang Binh) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) has a total length of about 519 km, passing through 211 communes and wards of 43 districts and towns in 9 provinces. Nghe An is currently implementing 2 projects, including: The 500kV Quang Trach - Quynh Luu line project in the province, about 82.33 km long, including 168 pole foundation locations, corresponding to 169 pole spaces and the 500kV Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa line project in the province, about 17.5 km long, including 34 pole foundation locations, corresponding to 34 pole spaces.

Up to now, 202/202 foundations have been completed, 156 columns have been erected, and 46 columns are being erected. It is expected that the column erection work at the remaining columns will be completed in July 2024.
Regarding the wire pulling, the Quang Trach - Quynh Luu project has completed the wire pulling of 4 anchors and is currently constructing 10 anchors. The Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa project is currently constructing 3 anchors and has completed 1 anchor. The investor plans to complete the wire pulling in August 2024.

In order to meet the urgent schedule and complete the project's energization in July 2024 as directed by the Prime Minister, at the meeting, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) Pham Hong Phuong hoped that the province would continue to direct the People's Committees of districts, towns and related units where the project passes through to continue to support and coordinate with the construction unit to directly resolve any problems arising during the construction process, including public roads, inter-village and inter-commune roads and organize security to ensure security and order throughout the construction process.
The Provincial People's Committee directed forest management boards to urgently utilize and cut down some remaining forest trees in the power line corridor to ensure a safe corridor for energization and operation.

During the foundation construction process, the contractors used local subcontractors, materials, labor, and construction machinery. Therefore, in the coming time, the foundation finishing work such as embankments and drainage ditches is expected to receive support from local resources. Support the investor, project management unit, and contractor in the process of restoring the ground and roads.
Authorities, women's organizations, youth unions... propagate, mobilize and support the work of dismantling houses, architectural works, cutting down and clearing remaining trees in the corridor of the route to ensure power supply and operation.

After listening to the opinions of the investor, relevant departments and branches, concluding the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh requested relevant departments, branches and localities to resolutely urge and open temporary service roads, creating a safe corridor for units constructing the 500kV line. Particularly, localities where the project passes through need to coordinate with functional forces, organize to ensure security and order, resolve cases of intentional obstruction, and ensure the set progress.

With the urgent progress requirements set by the Prime Minister, in order to better coordinate the work, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Vietnam Electricity Group and the National Power Transmission Corporation to proactively compile and review specific tasks. Construction units prepare plans to respond to extreme weather, ensuring the safety of people, works, machinery and equipment at the construction site.
After completing the project, investors and contractors must fulfill their commitment to restore the land and residential roads along the entire route./.
