French President Hollande's approval rating continues to fall
French President François Hollande's reputation continues to decline as 67% of French respondents expressed disappointment with the country's leader's performance in nearly a year in power, with less than 30% saying they were satisfied.
The results of a poll conducted by OpinionWay between March 9 and 14 showed that the percentage of French people dissatisfied with President Hollande had increased by 10% since the poll a month ago.

French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault's approval rating also fell, with only 31% of respondents expressing confidence in him, while 62% expressed disappointment.
The difficult economic situation and the unemployment rate in France in the fourth quarter of 2012 reaching its highest level in more than 13 years are the challenges that President Hollande and Prime Minister Ayrault are facing.
The unemployment rate in France in the final three months of last year reached 10.6% of the workforce, the highest level since the second quarter of 1999. This is also the sixth consecutive quarter that the second largest economy in the Eurozone has recorded an increase in the number of unemployed people.
Meanwhile, the European Commission (EC) forecasts that the unemployment rate in France will reach 10.7% this year, nearly double the rate in Germany./.
