Billionaire Bloomberg comes to Vietnam
Media mogul and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg will arrive in Hanoi today, on his first visit to Vietnam.

During his working visit, Mr. Bloomberg will meet and pay a courtesy call on Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung. He will also be received by Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh, the ministry said in a statement.
Tomorrow morning, Bloomberg, chairman of a charity that bears his name, will visit Nam Trung Yen Primary School in Hanoi. He is expected to make a speech calling for increased helmet use by children in traffic.
Bloomberg previously visited Singapore and gave a presentation at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy on sustainable urban development initiatives.
Bloomberg is the mayor of New York City and chairman of his eponymous media company. The 70-year-old is worth an estimated $20 billion, according to Forbes, making him the 12th richest person in the United States. He donates significant amounts to charities through the Bloomberg Family Foundation.
Yesterday at the World Conference on Tobacco and Health, he announced $220 million in funding over the next four years for the global fight against tobacco.
