Winning over Chelsea, MU officially won the ticket to the European Cup C1

May 25,U17 Vietnamentered the first friendly match of the training trip in Japan. The "blue team" of coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team is the Kaisenkan High School football team.

Vietnam U17 won 3-1 against their opponent thanks to a brace from Huynh Trieu and a goal from Cong Phuong. Notably, this friendly match had 3 halves and each half lasted 40 minutes instead of the usual 2 halves of 45 minutes.

Coach Hoang Anh Tuan's students scored 2 goals in the first half and 1 goal in the second half to lead 3-0. Then, Kaisenkan High School scored an honorary goal in the third half.

This is the second consecutive victory of U17 Vietnam during their training abroad. On May 21, Huynh Trieu and Cong Phuong scored to help U17 Vietnam beat host U17 Qatar 2-0 in a friendly match in the West Asian country.

After the 3-1 victory over Kaisenkan High School, coach Hoang Anh Tuan and his team will continue to "test the waters" with U18 Honda FC on May 28, Tokoha University on May 31 and Shizuoka University on June 2 before ending the training trip to Japan on June 5.

Vietnam Futsal team wins big against team that has participated in World Cup 4 times

The match on the afternoon of May 25 was also the first international friendly match of the Vietnam Futsal Team since regrouping in early May to prepare for the 2024 Asian Futsal Championship Qualifiers.

The match against Solomon Islands was an opportunity for coach Diego Giustozzi to evaluate his players and test his playing style. The Vietnam Futsal team did not use their strongest squad, but prioritized giving new players a chance to play in this match.

In the second half, the Vietnam Futsal Team increased the score to 2-0 thanks to a classy move by Tran Duy. After that, Thinh Phat and Ngoc Linh scored consecutively to widen the gap. Goalkeeper Huu Phuc also scored with a timely shot when the opponent played power-play.

In the end, the Vietnam Futsal Team won 5-0 against Solomon Islands in the afternoon match on May 25. On May 26, the two teams will play again in the second leg friendly match taking place at 5:00 p.m.

Thanh Hoa Club won a series of awards in April

On May 25, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) announced the April voting awards at Night Wolf V.League 2023.

Accordingly, Dong A Thanh Hoa Club won the Best Club award. In April, the Thanh Hoa team successively won against Binh Dinh (1-0), Hong Linh Ha Tinh (4-1), Ho Chi Minh City (5-3) and climbed to the top of the table spectacularly.

Thanh Hoa won 3 monthly awards in April.

Up to this point, Thanh Hoa is also the only unbeaten team in V.League 2023 since the beginning of the season. After 8 rounds, they have 5 wins and 3 draws. This achievement helped coach Velizar Popov win the Best Coach award for April.

Vietnam National Assembly Television to broadcast 2023 Women's World Cup

Good news for Vietnamese football fans as VMG Media has officially acquired the media and broadcasting rights for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in Vietnam.

After owning the exclusive rights to commercial exploitation and distribution of broadcasting copyright, this media unit and Vietnam National Assembly Television (channel 7) reached an agreement to broadcast matches of the Vietnam Women's Team and matches at the 2023 Women's World Cup finals. In addition, VTVCab is the unit that coordinates the production of the matches.

The 2023 Women's World Cup will feature 32 teams, divided into eight groups, taking place from July 20 to August 20 in Australia and New Zealand. Southeast Asia only has two teams, Vietnam and the Philippines, both newcomers to the tournament.
