(Baonghean.vn) - Facing an opponent that was considered weaker in every aspect, U23 Vietnam easily had a big win to take the top spot in Group K from U23 Thailand.

Entering the match, Coach Park Hang-seo's students quickly pushed up their formation to put pressure on the opponent's field. When the match had just passed 10 minutes, the home team had scored the opening goal. Viet Hung had the ball in front of the 16m50 area and despite being surrounded by Brunei players, he still had the ball to the left wing for Thanh Thinh to have a very good cross into the penalty area and Duc Chinh comfortably jumped high to head the ball into the Brunei net.

After scoring, U23 Vietnam was more comfortable in deploying the ball and organizing attacks. After missed opportunities, in the 24th minute, the red shirt players scored a goal to double the gap.

From the left wing, Viet Hung crossed the ball into the penalty area, Tan Sinh headed the ball diagonally, hit the post and bounced out, and goalkeeper Asmin failed to catch it. Van Hau's challenge created conditions for Thanh Chung to easily put the ball into the empty net.

From a situation of continuous siege with long shots, the ball bounced to Thanh Binh's feet and the striker wearing shirt number 11 finished accurately to end the match with a score of 3-0 in favor of U23 Vietnam.

In the second half, Quang Hai came on to replace Ha Duc Chinh. U23 continued to play leisurely but still created dangerous opportunities towards the opponent's goal.

In the 60th minute of the match, Van Hau passed the ball straight into the penalty area to Quang Hai. The player who had just entered the field handled the ball skillfully before passing the ball to Viet Hung to finish, raising the score to 4-0 for the red shirt players.

In the 78th minute, a very important player in the defense position, Tran Dinh Trong, reappeared after a long time of injury treatment. The person who left the field to make way for him was the player who scored the third goal, Dinh Thanh Binh.

After that, U23 Vietnam was awarded a penalty. On the 11m mark, Tan Sinh easily raised the score to 5-0 when the match had only passed 76 minutes.
