(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, October 22, at Luu Son commune, the District Party Committee - People's Committee of Do Luong district and Luu Son commune held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of recognition of Luu Son temple as a National Historical, Architectural and Artistic Relic.

At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Minh Hanh - Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee read a speech highlighting the significance and history of the temple. Phu Tho Temple was built in 1585, in Phu Tho Village, old Thanh Luu Commune, now Luu Son Commune, Do Luong, to worship the "National Protector" - talented general and martial artist Nguyen Canh Hoan, a famous mandarin of the Le - Trinh Dynasty.He had the merit of conquering the South and pacifying the North, bringing peace to Dai Viet and was awarded 10 royal decrees by the dynasties from Le Trung Hung onwards. Currently, the Temple still preserves 6 royal decrees that the Nguyen Dynasty awarded to Thai Pho Tan Quoc Cong.
