After the fact-checking showed that the issue reported by the newspaper was real, regarding this issue, the People's Committee of Do Luong district and the Department of Construction issued many documents requesting the Do Luong Brick Enterprise under Construction Joint Stock Company 16 - Vinaconex to suspend operations according to the Government's Decision such as: Official dispatch No. 293/UBND-CTh dated April 4, 2014; No. 337/UBND-CTh dated April 15, 2014; Minutes of the field inspection at the Do Luong Brick Enterprise by the Department of Construction and on the People's Committee of Do Luong district dated April 18, 2014; No. 442/UBND-CTh dated May 9, 2014; No. 494/UBND-CTh dated May 27, 2014; No. 865/UBND-CTh dated September 5, 2014; No. 900/UBND-CTh dated September 16, 2014; In Official Dispatch No. 713-SXD-VLXD dated April 29, 2014 of the Department of Construction... to abolish the manual brick kilns in the area, Do Luong district also requested to stop production;... requested to stop firing the kilns and proceed to dismantle the kilns, and return the land. Currently, in Do Luong district, the manual brick kilns have been abolished, but Do Luong Brick Enterprise under Construction Joint Stock Company 16 - Vinaconex is still operating, the location of this brick kiln is in a densely populated area, seriously affecting the environment, and the people are very upset.

On December 10, 2014, the People's Committee of Do Luong district issued Official Dispatch No. 1226/UBND-CTh on suspending the brick kiln operation of Do Luong Brick Enterprise with the following content:

1.Do Luong Brick Factory, a factory under Construction Joint Stock Company 16 - Vinaconex, must suspend production and dismantle the kiln, returning the site from December 20, 2014.

2.Dong Son Commune People's Committee: Inspect, draw up a record of suspension and handle administrative violations if Do Luong Brick Enterprise under Construction Joint Stock Company 16 - Vinaconex continues to produce and burn bricks.

3.The Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Department of Justice perform state management functions to guide units to comply with legal regulations...

And in this document, the People's Committee of Do Luong district also requested the Provincial People's Committee to organize enforcement when Do Luong Brick Enterprise under Construction Joint Stock Company 16 - Vinaconex continues to produce and burn bricks in residential areas (because this is an enterprise with 51% of shares owned by the State).
