Vinh City People's Committee directs handling of house, lane and alley numbering issues

However, in Vinh City today, many streets have messy house numbers, each place has its own style, causing many difficulties and inconveniences... In order to implement the regulations in Decision No. 05/2006/QD-BXD dated March 8, 2006 of the Ministry of Construction on promulgating regulations on numbering and attaching house number plates, in December 2007, the City People's Committee organized training and issued documents directing the implementation. However, the implementation in the field still has some shortcomings that have not been promptly handled as reported by the newspaper.

Vinh City People's Committee assigned the chairmen of the People's Committees of wards and communes to inspect and review the numbering of houses, alleys and lanes in the area according to the implementation time (Section 3, Article 25, Regulations on numbering and attaching house number plates attached to Decision No. 05/2006/QD-BXD of the Ministry of Construction). At the same time, organize the rearrangement of roads with inappropriate house number plates, alleys and lanes, and overcome the situation of messy and arbitrary house numbering as reported by the newspaper.
