Provincial People's Committee directs to resolve the issue raised by the newspaper
(Baonghean) - Nghe An Newspaper on August 20, 2013 published an article: Why are 161 hectares of production land in Tan Thanh abandoned, reflecting: In early 2011, the People's Committee of Yen Thanh district decided to reclaim 161 hectares of agricultural and forestry land in Hon Suong area, Tan Thanh commune to hand over to TH Dairy Food Joint Stock Company to carry out a project to produce feed crops for livestock. One year later, TH Dairy Company sent a document to the People's Committee of Yen Thanh district to stop implementing the project. Since then, nearly 161 hectares of agricultural land have been abandoned. The reason why people do not resume production is because after a long time, grass grows a lot, the soil is hard, and to cultivate, they have to hire machinery to plow the land, which is very expensive... The People's Committee of the district directed Tan Thanh commune to notify people to stop production on 161 hectares of land while the Dairy Company had just requested permission to conduct a survey of the project, which was too hasty. Therefore, the District People's Committee must take primary responsibility for leaving 161 hectares of land abandoned for the past two years, and must soon have solutions to support people in reproducing on this land.
Next, in the August 23, 2013 issue, there was an article: Huu Nghi Private High School - Gifted Sports High School: The perfect "transformation"...!?, reflecting: After only a year of operation as a public school, Nghe An Gifted Sports High School (formerly Huu Nghi Private High School) has had many "disturbing" incidents: unfairness in recruiting staff and teachers; signs of "investment" to "run" for positions; financial violations... With what is happening here, if not promptly assessed, handled and adjusted appropriately... there will be a huge waste of funds, human resources and development opportunities for Nghe An Sports.
After consideration, on September 10, 2013, the Provincial People's Committee issued Official Dispatch No. 6324/UBND-VX assigning the Chairman of Yen Thanh District to direct the inspection and Official Dispatch No. 6325/UBND - VX assigning the Department of Home Affairs to preside over and work directly with the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, the Department of Finance and related units to inspect and handle the issues raised by Nghe An Newspaper; and report in writing to the Provincial People's Committee the results of handling the content raised by the newspaper.
