Provincial People's Committee directs inspection of violations in supporting housing construction for poor households in Nghi Loc
Nghe An Newspaper on July 11 published an article titled “Hundreds of poor households at risk of not receiving housing support money” reflecting the situation in Nghi Loc regarding the implementation of Decision 167/CP of the Prime Minister to support housing for poor households in ethnic minority and disadvantaged areas (accordingly, the State supports each household with 7 million VND and the policy bank provides loans with low interest rates). However, in Nghi Van and Nghi Kieu communes, there are still 320 poor households who have built houses for 2-3 years but have not yet received support money and loans due to lost documents.

Regarding this issue, on August 1, 2012, in Document No. 5262/UBND-VX of the Provincial People's Committee, Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested: The Department of Construction shall preside over and coordinate with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in coordination with the Nghi Loc District People's Committee and relevant units to direct the inspection of the cases reported and similar cases. If there are violations, they shall be handled according to their authority or advised by the Provincial People's Committee to handle them in accordance with the provisions of law, ensuring the rights of the people, reporting to the Provincial People's Committee, and at the same time responding to Nghe An Newspaper before August 20, 2012.
