Along with the socio-economic development, in recent times, the province has had many factors that have negatively impacted the environment. Many organizations and individuals have not been aware of environmental protection; construction, installation, and operation of exhaust gas and waste treatment systems have not been ensured; unreasonable use of plant protection chemicals and waste treatment in agricultural production has caused environmental pollution, especially water, air, and soil in some areas of the province.
In addition, the negative impacts of climate change are becoming increasingly evident. Although all levels, sectors, organizations and people have had many practical activities to protect the environment, these activities are still small-scale and lack sustainability.
