On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Ho Duc Phoc reported some results of the province's socio-economic development in the past year: GDP growth rate reached 10.38%, the highest budget revenue in the North Central region, reaching 6,668 billion VND, equal to 140% of the estimate and increasing by 25.95% compared to 2010, ranking 13th in the country. Food output reached nearly 1.2 million tons, the highest ever. Cultural, educational, scientific and technological activities, and health care have made much progress, especially in education and sports with high achievements...
After listening to the report of the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, representatives of foreign enterprises investing in Nghe An had many opinions, considering this the best opportunity to exchange and express some of the wishes and thoughts of enterprises in the process of operation that are still stuck. Investors from China, Japan, Finland, Korea... had many opinions around a number of issues: the granting of investment licenses still has many obstacles, the traffic infrastructure to the project areas is still weak, the security and order issues in Hoang Mai Industrial Park are not guaranteed, the site clearance in some projects is still slow....
On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Ho Duc Phoc directly received and explained the opinions of investors and promised to continue to consider and direct departments at all levels to resolve difficulties in the process of implementing the projects.
