(Baonghean.vn) -On the occasion of the beginning of the year of Nham Thin 2012, on the afternoon of January 30, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized a meeting with representatives of units in the transport sector located in the area.
On behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reported on the socio-economic situation of the province in 2011, including the contributions of units in the transport sector. Although it was a difficult year due to lack of capital, the progress of key projects was still ensured such as: Ben Thuy 2 Bridge Project, National Highway 1 connecting Dong Hoi, the project to renovate and upgrade Road 1..., contributing significantly to meeting the socio-economic development needs of the province.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the contributions of the Transport sector to the development of the province, and at the same time hoped that units in the sector should be active in attracting investment capital, speeding up the development of infrastructure to serve the economic development of the province; advising the province to attract effective investment in the transport sector... The province will also work with enterprises to remove obstacles and difficulties to speed up the implementation of projects.
At the first meeting of the year, leaders of units in the transport sector reported on the results of their tasks in the past year, the plan for 2012, and at the same time hoped that the province would pay attention and create favorable conditions for the implementation of the plan.
