Nghe An Provincial People's Committee works with Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank and investors

(Baonghean) -On the afternoon of October 3, the People's Committee of Nghe An province had a working session with Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank and investors. Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended.

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the departments: Planning - Investment, Agriculture - Rural Development, Construction, Health, Natural Resources - Environment...

At the meeting, leaders of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank and investors presented the progress of key projects being implemented in Nghe An province such as TH Milk Factory, Animal Feed Processing Factory in Nghi Thiet Commune (Nghi Loc); Cua Lo Deepwater Port; Tan Thang Cement Factory (Quynh Luu); Pharmaceutical Industry Development Project in Nghe An Province; Phu Quy High-Tech International Hospital Construction Project (Nghia Dan) and the land lease application of TH Milk Food Joint Stock Company on the land planned to build Thai Hoa Town Industrial Park.

Also at the meeting, the leaders of Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank proposed a number of ideas such as: The Government, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Nghe An province should soon allocate land, forests, and sites for projects; the clean medicinal plant growing project in Muong Long (Ky Son) is a pilot model, so the province needs to give investment incentives in the first phase; request the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee to establish a project steering committee; currently, some macro-level policies have not yet met investment needs in a timely manner, so the province and investors need to unify opinions and submit them to ministries, departments, and branches for timely resolution.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Phan Dinh Trac commented that the projects of the North Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank and investors are large-scale, high-tech production projects, which are of great significance in the socio-economic development of the province, increasing budget revenue, creating jobs for workers, and transforming the growth model from breadth to depth for the provincial economy. However, projects with large volumes, related to policies, unprecedented fields, and lack of experience should require investors to have written documents with specific proposals for problems. The Provincial People's Committee needs to establish a direct steering committee for the project; lead and direct, in-depth instruction, working with investors to resolve issues such as land, taxes, preferential policies to support investors, etc.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Ho Duc Phoc highly appreciated the effectiveness of the projects implemented in Nghe An province by Bac A Joint Stock Commercial Bank. Regarding the recommendations and proposals of the leaders of Bac A Joint Stock Commercial Bank and investors, within its authority, the province will focus on directing strongly to remove difficulties and obstacles in the investment process, establish a Project Appraisal Board... and at the same time recommend the Government, ministries, and branches to consider and resolve, in order to create the best conditions for the projects to be completed and achieve high efficiency.
