Nghe An Provincial People's Committee organized a meeting and dialogue with businesses to resolve difficulties in production and business.
(Baonghean) -This afternoon, July 16, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized a dialogue with businesses in the province on resolving difficulties in production and business. Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the dialogue.
At the dialogue, the Provincial People's Committee and related departments and branches listened to 11 opinions of the Board of Directors' Chairmen and Directors of enterprises, proposing difficulties and problems in the current production and business process.
The recommendations of enterprises mainly focused on the issue: the 2011 land rental price for land-leasing enterprises was too high. In the province, there are currently 900 land-leasing enterprises operating in production and business, of which 600 enterprises have expired the 5-year price stabilization period, now having to recalculate according to the 2011 unit price. The remaining 300 enterprises are still stable at the old price. Many opinions of enterprises said that with such land prices, it is very difficult for enterprises to be effective in production and business. It is recommended that the province consider and have a more suitable land rental price for enterprises. Price adjustment needs to have a roadmap and must be notified in advance to both ensure that enterprises operate effectively and create favorable conditions for attracting investment in the province.
Comrade Ho Duc Phoc spoke at the dialogue.
Concluding the dialogue, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Duc Phoc shared the difficulties of enterprises in the current period of inflation and financial tightening. Recently, the decision to adjust the 2011 Land Price List of Nghe An province to be 18-20% higher than that of 2010 has affected enterprises. To reduce difficulties and create conditions for enterprises to develop production and business, according to the proposal of enterprises and the Association of Enterprises, the Provincial People's Committee will submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council a proposal to adjust the price of non-agricultural production and business land in Nghe An province from 70% to 50% of residential land price. The Provincial People's Committee decided to adjust the coefficient of 1.8-2% previously to 1.56%. The Chairman requested relevant departments and branches to consider applying stable prices to enterprises for land areas that have been leased by enterprises for a long time. For land areas that are attracting investment, it is necessary to reduce land rental prices. The Provincial People's Committee will propose that the Government reduce or postpone land rents during the current period, contributing to removing difficulties and creating conditions for businesses to operate effectively...
At this dialogue, leaders of the Departments of Natural Resources and Environment, Finance, Planning and Investment and Nghe An Tax Department also answered questions related to business operations in the province.
