Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificate of Merit to Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency
(Baonghean.vn) -On November 1, in Hanoi, the People's Committee of Nghe An province organized a ceremony to present a Certificate of Merit to the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA Hanoi) for its outstanding achievements in co-organizing the Conference on Promoting Korean Investment in Nghe An.

Attending the award ceremony on the Korean side were Mr. Kim Tae Ja - Commercial Counselor of the Korean Embassy in Vietnam; Mr. Lee Kyu Seon, General Director of KOTRA Hanoi Office. On the Ministry of Planning and Investment side, there were Mr. Nguyen Ba Cuong - Deputy Director of the Foreign Investment Agency and Mr. Pham Vu Hai - Director of the Northern Investment Promotion Center. On the provincial side, there were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment.

Presenting the certificate of merit to the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong sincerely thanked the Korean Embassy, leaders and associates of KOTRA for supporting and helping Nghe An in investment promotion activities. After the conference, many business delegations came to Nghe An to survey the investment environment, including Korean investors. Currently, Korea is the country with many projects implemented in Nghe An (12/32 FDI projects are still in effect, not to mention 2 projects in the process of completing investment procedures). At the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong invited Mr. Kim Tae Ja, Mr. Lee Kyu Seon and associates to visit Nghe An.
Mr. Lee Kyu Seon, on behalf of the KOTRA Office, thanked the recognition of the People's Committee of Nghe An Province and considered this as a motivation for the KOTRA Office to organize more investment promotion activities in Vietnam, and promised to continue to support and connect investment for Nghe An. In the immediate future, in 2014, he will co-organize a seminar between Korean investors in Nghe An to remove difficulties and obstacles and assist Korean enterprises to invest effectively in Nghe An.
