“This money will allow us to equip the border between Ukraine and the Russian Federation,” Yatsenyuk said at a cabinet meeting.
Stressing that regaining control of the border with Russia is a key point in Ukraine's peace plan, Mr. Yatsenyuk said the government had spent $15.3 million on the "Wall" project.
Earlier in September, the Ukrainian government launched the project to "cut off Russia's support for rebel forces in the eastern regions."
It is expected that this construction work will be completed by April 2015.
