Ukraine moves heavy weapons to the East

Itar-Tass reported on the evening of April 13 that local media reported that representatives of the “Donbass Militia” had seized a truck carrying ammunition for the “Grad” multiple rocket launcher system at one of the checkpoints near the city of Slavyansk, Donetsk region.

Sources in the Ukrainian security services have acknowledged the fact that the “weapons truck” was seized, noting that the captured KrAZ belonged to the National Guard of Ukraine.

Earlier, the National Security and Defense Committee of Ukraine decided to launch a large-scale anti-terrorist operation in the East with the participation of the Ukrainian armed forces.

Ukraine's acting Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has advised residents of the eastern city of Slaviansk to stay indoors and away from clashes between security forces and pro-Russian rebels who have seized several regional government buildings./.
