Ukraine admits frontline is tough, Trump's ideas on Crimea are circulating
Ukraine admits the situation on the front line is difficult and shows signs of escalation. It is rumored that Mr. Trump wants Kiev to accept the reality of Crimea in order to negotiate with Russia.
According to Kyiv Independent, on November 9, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian army Oleksandr Syrsky gave the latest update on the fighting situation, acknowledging the difficulties on the front line.
"The situation on the front line remains challenging and even shows a tendency to escalate significantly. Russia is using its numerical advantage to put pressure on the areas around Pokrovsk and Kurakhove. We also need to prepare for the possibility of other forces joining the Russian army," Syrsky said.
On November 2, Mr. Syrsky also said that the Ukrainian army was facing one of the strongest enemy offensives since the beginning of the conflict. According to a Bloomberg report, Ukraine has lost 1,146 square kilometers of territory since the start of the Kursk operation in August this year.

Rumors that Mr. Trump wants Ukraine to give up Crimea
According to Pravda, on November 9, Mr. Trump's spokesman denied the information that the US President-elect wanted Ukraine to acknowledge the reality of the Crimean peninsula in order to negotiate peace.
"Bryan Lanza does not represent or speak for Mr. Trump. He is a temporary employee of the campaign and is not currently working for President Trump," Mr. Trump's spokesman emphasized.
Previously, Russian and Western media published comments by Mr. Bryan Lanza - Mr. Trump's campaign advisor, about the 47th US President wanting Kiev to accept "a realistic vision of peace".
"President Zelensky said that Ukraine will not stop fighting until it takes back Crimea, but he needs to accept the fact that the peninsula is lost. The top priority for the United States is to establish peace to minimize casualties, and Kiev needs to come up with a more realistic plan," said Mr. Lanza.
