One of them is the strategy of "de-occupation" of the Crimean peninsula, which was previously approved by the National Security and Defense Council.

The second factor is the participation of allied countries at the international summit "Crimea Platform". The conference is scheduled to take place on August 23, 2021 (before Ukraine's Independence Day) with the participation of representatives of countries such as Turkey, France, the UK, Germany, Canada and the US. Here, Kiev is expected to hold discussions on the return of Crimea.

The third factor is the combined power. Accordingly, the restoration of international law and, as a result, "full sovereignty of Ukraine" over the Crimean peninsula.

Earlier, at the end of February 2021, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on a number of measures aimed at the goal of "non-occupation and reintegration" of Crimea. The Ukrainian leader instructed to establish an organizing committee to prepare and hold a summit on the "Crimea Platform" in the country. In addition, support for Crimean Tatars in terms of language, culture, as well as protection of the rights of the Crimean people.

Not only outlining the above plan, Foreign Minister Kuleba also called on Russia to "open access" to Crimea and "not impose politicized views".

"We call on the occupying power to depoliticize the issue of access to Crimea, and provide full access, in accordance with international law and in particular International Humanitarian Law," said diplomat Kuleba.

Russian and Crimean authorities have repeatedly stated that access to the peninsula is open. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova previously stated that Moscow is ready to accept any international control mechanism in the field of human rights in Crimea.

Crimea speaks out

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister's statements immediately met with a fierce reaction from the Crimean government. Roman Chegrinets - Chairman of the Council of Slavic Nationalities in Crimea, said that Kiev's plan to regain control of the peninsula, "is waiting for failure". Mr. Roman affirmed: "Crimea has been, is and will always be Russia's".

Crimean Parliament Deputy Speaker Alexei Chernyak called the Ukrainian Foreign Minister's statement "nonsense" and refused to comment./.
